Apply materials and effects
Once you've prepared your object, it's time to proceed to the third step: "Layer Design." You can reach this step by clicking the pen icon in your toolbar.
In this stage, you'll be selecting materials, embossings and micro-nano embossing technologies for the layers/channels that are embedded in your layout. The available options will vary depending on the material you've chosen. Keep in mind that certain technologies might not be available based on your material selection.
Additionally, you have the option to modify the substrate for this specific project from a predefined database within your layer list. Should you find a specific substrate missing, don't hesitate to contact our support team at KURZ.
If you encounter any issues with the order of your layers/channels within DREAMCOMPOSER® (a situation that can arise when not using Adobe products), you can easily address this by adjusting the order using the provided dotted handles on the right of your layer.
Feel free to toggle effects, technologies, and substrates according to your preferences. You can even combine these elements to a certain extent. As you make selections, you'll notice that different options appear based on the specific layer/channel you choose. To apply a selection, simply click on the desired effect directly.
